I’m curious . . . have you read Alice Waters – The Art of Simple Food: Notes, Lessons, and Recipes from a Delicious Revolution? A friend of mine who is a chef in LA suggested it and I haven’t yet purchased it . . . I may need to take a look at the ones you have listed above though.
I haven’t read that one…yet. Will look into it though!
You can peruse this blog (http://carolcookskeller.blogspot.com/) before you pickup the French Laundry cookbook. The author documents her experiences working her way through the book.
Bouchon is MUCH friendlier to the average cook and is the one I grab when I’m in a "what should we cook this week" mood.
Let me know if you end up with any of the other books. I’d be curious to get your take on them.
Thank you! I will look into them and will definitely let you know. Appreciate the response. 🙂
My plesh! And I appreciate YOUR response! 🙂 !
Please tell me you’re watching Chef’s Table on Netflix?? (my eyes are shut in the anticipation of hearing you say.."yes") If not, please do!
I can’t wait to see your episode on an upcoming season!
I’m just now learning Chef’s Table is a TV show… (my eyes are squinty in anticipation of you saying "unfriended".) I shall start watching now. For research!
I can’t wait to see you at some point in the future!
