What to do in New York City
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Here are my touristy suggestions, in no particular order:
Go to the 9/11 Memorial
Walk The High Line.
Go to the Top of the Rock instead of the Empire State Building. Here’s why.
Check out the New York Public Library. It’s beautiful.
Walk around Grand Central Terminal. It’s also beautiful. And the home of my favorite Apple Store.
Peep the Statue of Liberty from The Esplanade at Battery Park City.
Then grab cannoli at Eataly (Flatiron or Downtown locations only)
Go to Central Park
Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
Check out my favorite cocktail bar
