Burnt Lemon Basil Jasmine (WIP)
1/2 c lemon basil leaves
1 1/2 oz London dry gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz Cointreau
Heat a dry skillet or grill pan over high heat. Add the lemon basil and char. You want it good and charred, about 2 minutes per side.
Add the burned lemon basil to the shaker and shake with the cocktail. Double-strain.
